Things to do in Boston, Massachusetts
I absolutely love Boston! This is definitely called the Commonwealth State for a reason. However, I extremely hate the winter here, some love it, but I rather be in Orlando for the winter season. Boston has some great places to visit, how could you forget the Boston Tea Party. One of Boston main tourist attractions is the Commons, home to the swan boats and duck tour in the summer season.
The snow is definitely a great sight to see in the winter months in Boston and New York. The weather in the winter kind of limit your options to doing certain things that are fun in Boston. You have to make sure to check the weather that there isn’t a winter storm coming. The best time to be in the Boston is definitely in the spring and summer time.
While visiting Boston you can visit The Faneuil Hall Marketplace which is a historic indoor-outdoor shopping center.
The New England Aquarium is home to the giant ocean tank with over 2,000 animals to bring you and the kids to visit.
The Museum of Fine Arts which has impressionist art and Egyptian treasures.
Museum of Science is home to the interactive exhibits and the IMAX theater, I haven’t visit here since I was kid in elementary school. From what I could remember it was such a beautiful sight. You can also catch that wonderful an fun Duck tour here at the Museum of Science in Cambridge.
You must also make sure you visit the Freedom Trail walk in the historic district area of Beacon Hill, Boston. This is also very close to the Boston commons. While visiting the Freedom Trail in Boston you can also check out the beautiful scenery of the Beacon Hill architecture.
The Public Garden is beautiful place to wander through!
Oh snap, I almost forget to include Fenway Park home for the Boston Red Sox for all you baseball fans!
Boston has so many nice beaches, there not the like the beautiful beaches in Florida but they can cool you down on the hot summer days that Boston has to offer. You should check out Nantasket Beach relaxed swimming beach with nearby shops. Revere Beach, beach and roller coasters, sometimes during the summer they have sand and ice sculptures. Carson Beach in South Boston which is right near Castle Island, you can take a walk the castle island fort. These beaches in South Boston have Sullivan’s where you can buy ice cream and food!
