When Is House Sitting Necessary?

House sitting isn’t required every time you go away!

Honestly, it’s a good judgement call, and you’ll have to decide for yourself whether or not a house sitter is necessary. However, there are a few signs that make it more likely to be worthwhile. 

For one, how valuable are the items in your home? The more likely your home is to be a target for criminals, the more valuable house sitting is. As well, pet owners who don’t bring their animals with them may want to have a house sitter. House sitting is better than pet boarding, since it allows your animal to stay in the area where it’s most comfortable.
